I&Y Construction Brightens Chambersburg High School’s Trojan Stadium with MUSCO TLC for LED Sports Lighting Retrofit

I&Y Construction was proud to partner once again with MUSCO Sports Lighting to complete a state-of-the-art lighting upgrade at Chambersburg Area Senior High School’s Trojan Stadium in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. The project brought cutting-edge technology to one of South Central Pennsylvania’s most recognized high school athletic venues, ensuring brighter, more efficient illumination for both players and fans.

Completed on April 17, 2025, the stadium lighting retrofit featured the installation of MUSCO’s TLC for LED™ system with integrated Show-Light® controls, replacing the previous lighting with a modern, high-performance solution designed for energy efficiency, visibility, and excitement. The scope of work included retrofitting two 105-foot poles and two 95-foot poles, reusing existing infrastructure while significantly enhancing lighting quality and control.

The MUSCO Show-Light® system provides dynamic lighting effects synchronized with sound—offering an engaging, professional-level experience for athletes, students, and the local community during pregame introductions, touchdowns, and special events.

Home of the Chambersburg Trojans, the school’s football stadium has long been a centerpiece of community spirit and competition. Trojan Stadium, located on the Chambersburg Area Senior High School campus, has hosted countless Friday night lights moments, from playoff runs to championship-caliber performances in football, track, and marching band.
