I&Y Construction Elevates Lebanon School District’s Cedar Sports Complex with New MUSCO TLC for LED Lighting System

I&Y Construction is proud to have partnered with MUSCO Sports Lighting on a major sports lighting installation for the Lebanon School District in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. The project took place at the district’s newly completed Cedar Sports Complex, home to Lebanon’s baseball and softball programs, and represents another milestone in the district’s investment in modern, energy-efficient athletic infrastructure.

As part of a Pole-in-Air project, I&Y Construction was responsible for drilling and installing 12 new concrete foundations and setting a total of 12 MUSCO poles to support the TLC for LED™ lighting system. The installation included six (6) 70-foot poles for the turf multi-purpose field, and two (2) 70-foot poles plus four (4) 80-foot poles for the baseball field.

The new MUSCO LED system provides high-performance, uniform illumination while dramatically improving energy efficiency and reducing maintenance costs. Its advanced design ensures superior visibility, safety, and playability for athletes, while also enhancing the fan experience during evening games and events.

A New Era for Lebanon Athletics

The Cedar Sports Complex officially opened with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on September 11, 2025, marking a major achievement for the Lebanon School District and its athletic community. The ceremony was attended by district officials, coaches, student-athletes, and local leaders who celebrated the completion of the long-awaited facility.

Superintendent Dr. Arthur Abrom noted during the event that the complex is “a reflection of our community’s pride and commitment to providing opportunities for our students to grow and succeed—both on and off the field.”

The facility features brand-new turf baseball and softball fields, spectator seating, scoreboards, and professional-grade lighting—bringing Lebanon’s athletic amenities in line with some of the best in the region. The lighting systems installed by I&Y Construction allow the Lebanon Cedars to host games, practices, and community events well into the evening, creating a flexible and welcoming environment for student-athletes and fans.
